Definition of well-being

Defining the well-being of a Tamos-Education school

At Tamos Education, well-being is a shared responsibility and a holistic condition that enables all members of the school community—students, staff, parents, and partners—to thrive.

It is reflected in the following interconnected elements:

  • Safety and protection: a secure, respectful environment free from bullying, discrimination, and harm.
  • Positive relationships: caring, trusting, and collaborative interactions across the whole school community.
  • Emotional and psychological health: opportunities for support, balance, resilience, and healthy coping with challenges.
  • Engagement and purpose: meaningful participation in learning, teaching, and professional collaboration.
  • Inclusion and dignity: recognition of individuality, cultural diversity, and the inherent value of every person.

At Tamos Education, well-being is a holistic state in which every member of our community feels safe, valued, supported, and able to thrive emotionally, socially, and professionally. It is fostered through positive relationships, ethical practices, inclusive environments, and meaningful engagement in learning and collaboration.
